The Albany Lakes Civic Park is a rain water management area, public park and entertainment space located in Albany north of Auckland. The park is opposite the Westfield Albany shopping mall in the centre of a new commercial / town centre area that is being developed.
The park comprises of two new lakes which will serve both as landscape features and storm water ponds. The lakes were artificially created in the late 2000s and are divided by a weir and bridge designed by the artist Caroline Robinson.
